How to get a Google Account
If you have a gmail and can also remember the username and password for it, then you already have a Google Account. When you create a G-mail, you automatically get a Google Account.

NB Please note that Google changes the procedure for creating accounts with them from time to time. Deviations from the guide may therefore occur. Although changes may occur, the guide is still a good guide. If things go awry, just call us - we'll help you set up a Google Account on your Emporia Smart phone.

Step 1. Go to the home page.
Touch the screen and slide your finger securely to the left while pressing against the screen. Now you come to a page with a lot of squares. Click on the square that says "Play store". If you can not see a square that says "Play store", instead click on the square called "all apps". After tapping here, hold your finger on the screen and slide it upwards while maintaining a light touch on the screen. That way you "scroll" down the page. Continue like this until you find the bar called "Play Store". Press the bar. Now you are ready for step 2

Step 2. Press "New". If you already have a gmail, tap "existing" instead and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 3. Now you come to a page where you have to write your first and last name.
Use your finger to tap on the top bar that says "first name". Now the mobile keyboard should appear. Enter your first name using the keyboard. Click on the bottom bar where it says "last name". Use the keyboard to type your last name. Once you have entered your first and last name, press the green button that says "Next". Now you are ready for step 4

Step 4. Now you need to create a Google Account.
The page asks you to select a username in the form of an email address. It is the one we are making now and which will be your G-mail in the future. You do not have to use your g-mail for everyday if you like your dukaMail better, but you need to create a G-mail on your Emporia Smart phone if you want to install apps on it. Click on the bar that says "E-mail" and select a name for your e-mail.
Once you have entered a username, press the green button that says "execute". Now you are ready for step 5.

Step 5. Your Google Account is basically ready now.
But we need to go through a few more steps before your Google Account can be used on your Emporia Smart phone. Now you need to choose a password for your Google Account. It must contain numbers and letters and be at least 8 characters long. Tap the top bar and enter your personal password. Then press the bottom bar and enter the exact same password again.
(Tip: Your password is personal, and no one but you knows it. Neither do we in Duka. It's therefore a good idea to write down the password on a piece of paper. Save the password in a place where you do not normally have your phone. Then you are well protected against malicious people who use people's mobiles)
Once you have found a code and entered it, press the green button that says "Finish". Now you are ready for step 6

Step 6. Tap “Configure” and go to step 7

Step 7. Tap the gray arrow at the bottom right. Now you are ready for step 8

Step 9. Tap the bottom writing pad.
Now your keyboard should appear. Write the distorted letters that appear in the picture and press the green button that says "Finish". It can be difficult to see what it says. If you type incorrectly, feel free to try again.
